4. Business and school systems
When an organization or school uses an EYEHAI system, that customer may determine what information is entered and how it is used. In those cases, we handle the information to provide the contracted service and follow the customer's lawful instructions. The customer remains responsible for having an appropriate basis to collect and use the information it places in the system, including information concerning staff, students, parents, customers, or suppliers.
5. Cookies
We may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website security, account sessions, and core product functionality. For example, the restricted administration area uses an essential session cookie after a successful sign-in. If we introduce optional analytics or marketing cookies, we will provide appropriate notice and choices where required.
6. Payments
Payments and online transactions may be processed through approved third-party payment providers. Depending on the service offered, these providers may include Paystack, Hubtel, or another provider identified at the time of payment. Payment providers process transaction details under their own terms and privacy notices. We may use trusted hosting, communications, payment, analytics, security, and software infrastructure providers where needed to operate our services. We share only the information reasonably needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, or as part of a legitimate business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information as a business activity.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information and service. These measures may include access controls, secure transport, restricted credentials, backups, and software maintenance. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should also keep account credentials confidential and notify us of suspected misuse.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide services, manage our relationship with a customer, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Retention periods vary according to the type of data, product, and applicable contract. Information is deleted, anonymized, or securely archived when it is no longer required.
